FAQ
Check out the assembly video down below, or refer to the software and hardware installation guides here:
Motion 1 has one power cable to be plugged in a power outlet as well as one USB cable that will need to be plugged into your computer. When Motion 1 is not operating, please verify that the power cord is plugged into the power outlet, the USB cable is plugged into the PC and the Power Button on the Motion 1 (below the seat and on the Motion unit) is pressed down, indicating that it is powered ON.
Please note, Motion 1 does NOT support the full output voltage range of 100V-240V.
Depending on where you purchase the Motion 1, the internal power supply will only accept the local country’s voltage. Example: Purchasing Motion 1 in USA will come with an internal power supply accepting 100V-120V, whereas purchasing the Motion 1 in Europe or specific parts of Asia that require 220V-240V will come with an internal power supply only accepting 220V-240V. Please do not use the Motion 1 with different voltage regulations from the country you purchased from, as this will damage the product.
Motion 1 in general will not move when there is haptic feedback. However this may vary depending on your floor type and the strength of the haptic feedback. There is a locking mechanism on the wheels if you feel the need to lock it in place.
For games and videos not natively encoded for Motion 1, we have adaptive gaming and adaptive audio modes that will work with any game or video. Adaptive gaming will work so long as there is recognizable input (controller, mouse, keyboard, etc…) and is fully customizable. Adaptive audio mode will work for any videos that are not natively encoded and relies on audio output to produce haptic feedback.
Purchasing the Motion 1 comes with an all-included access to D-BOX’s encoded library of over 2,500+ games and movies. D-BOX’s engineering teams are constantly adding new content and will continue to do so for the lifespan of the product.
Please refer D-BOX catalogue here for a full list of movies, series and games: https://catalogue.d-box.com/en/.
Currently Motion 1 is only available to be purchased in USA and Taiwan. However, we expect to roll out to more countries soon through our partnered retailers soon.
Please note, the Motion 1 due to its size will need to be shipped in two separate boxes.
